Project Planner

Responsible for:

• Day to day planning, completion of reports and quality related documents, safety of subordinates.
• Overseeing the maintenance fault diagnosis and repair, including systematic strip down and re-building of mechanical equipment and competent relating to, but not limited to, cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, valves, machine tools and other similar plant.
• Installation of mechanical plant and equipment including pipe services.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of various workshop equipment’s.
• Handling a group of tradesmen including manpower allocation, overtimes etc.
• Recording of maintenance data and daily work activities and any other as deemed suitable by department head.
• Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Preferred Competencies:

• ITI 2 years with min. 5 years’ experience or mechanical 3 years diploma with min. 3 years’ experience in Shipyard / Oil & Gas Industry.
• Competent to read / draw Mechanical Drawing.
• Proficient in all practical aspects and be able to read and fully understand mechanical working drawings.
• Proficiency of MS Office Application.
• Good command of English Language.
• Good in trouble shooting.
